Jon Hepner

Jon Hepner joined the Czar’s board in December of 2025.  Jon was born and raised in Oregon, WI, graduated in 2008, attended Edgewood College and graduated in 2012 with a double major in Business Management and Business Marketing.  
 
Since 2012, Jon has earned his State of Wisconsin Real Estate License, was a member of the In Business Madison 40-Under-40 Class of 2019, and has practiced professional real estate development and a variety of real estate and construction activities.  Presently, and for the last 3.5 years, Jon has been a partner at TJK Design Build, Inc.  
 
Jon recently completed a 2-term 6-year board of directors’ role with Gilda’s Club Madison. Jon has expressed his excitement to offer his knowledge and experience, both from his professional work and his previous board role, with Czar’s Promise.  Additionally, Jon has noted his eagerness to promote Czar’s commitment to supporting pediatric and canine / feline cancer research at American Family Children’s Hospital and the University of Wisconsin Veterinary Medicine treatment program, directly supporting animals undergoing cancer treatment. 
 
Jon is a proud husband; wife Krista, and a father of two boys; Grant (3.5-yrs.) and Mason (4-months), and adoptive dog parent; Barry, a 7 y.o. Great Pyrenees Mountain Dog.  Jon and his family live in rural Verona, WI. 
 
Jon’s connection to Czar’s actually began when he was only 10 or so years old, unbenounced to him until last year when he and Beth made the connection at a Czar’s fundraising event,.  His dad and step-mom brought a litter of Great Pyrenees puppies back home to Dodgeville, WI sometime around the year 2000, where Jon happily enjoyed playing with them and raising them until each eventually found it’s forever home, one of which was Czar.
