Scientific Advisory Board

Czar’s Promise supports clinical discovery efforts in pediatric and companion animal research at UW Health Kids – American Family Children’s Hospital and University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine.

The Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) is comprised of veterinarians, scientists and importantly animal lovers, with an overall objective of overseeing Czar’s Promise research funding.

The SAB establishes pediatric and companion animal oncology grant proposal criteria, guidelines and timelines along with conducting a review and approving of options presented by local research entities. Czars Promise does not fund studies conducted on laboratory/research animals. The SAB upholds Czar’s Promise’s promise to our donors that precious funds will be spent on the highest impact pediatric and companion animal cancer research.
