Dog Grin Photography

Back To Our Partners

Steve Dahlgren has been a photographer for over 35 years, starting out in the newspaper and television business in the 1980’s. Steve has lived in Madison’s Midvale Heights neighborhood for 20 years. When he is not working as a full-time firefighter he likes to “focus” his attention on dog photography – capturing images of our wonderful canine friends. Steve, along with wife Rose and main canine June Bug make up the Dog Grin Photography team.

Preferring to photograph the amazing personalities of dogs in places where they are most comfortable, Steve does not “do” studio animal portraits or use sets or costumes. We travel to your favorite backyard, dog park, or other special location. And yes, he does photograph cats, horses, lizards, fish, birds and the lots of humans too!
