Czar's Promise Wall Annual Fundraiser

On December 20, 2013, the most regal, proud, loyal, and magnificent Czar left this earth after a 19 month journey with bone cancer. On that day of extraordinary heartbreak, as we reflected on his life of immense love, a Promise was made. A Promise that I wrote to Czar in a letter, that I recorded on video, and that I whispered as I held him as he took his last breath. I promised that I would find a way to support local families and companion animals as they traveled this most difficult of all journeys, and that I would never, ever stop the fight to help find a cure. Now, on December 20, 2020, we remember, honor, and support those companion animals and special humans for whom we all make our promise.

It began as a love story; the attraction, immediate. In 2001, a small white fluffball with an infectious smile that had me at "hello", came bounding full steam ahead and into my arms; and yes, that was all it took.
